Job Summary This General Labor position serves the erosion control division. The Crew Member‑DOT Driver installs silt fence, inlet protections, slope matting and other erosion control services at residential and commercial sites, and drives a work truck to and from sites. The position requires following direction from the Crew Leader, utilizing vehicles, hand tools and equipment, and working toward efficient completion of assigned tasks.
Duties & Functions
Review the daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning.
Assist with loading trucks with proper installation materials.
Drive the company work truck to and from worksites while obeying traffic laws.
Represent Greenrise Technologies professionally to customers and homeowners at all times.
Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of excellence.
Follow all safety protocols for vehicles, equipment, and site conduct.
Install all erosion control products as directed by the crew leader.
Communicate effectively with operations managers and crew members.
Achieve daily and weekly silt‑fence installation output goals.
Inspect and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns using the proper chain of command.
Requirements
A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (Required).
Current or ability to obtain a DOT medical card (Required).
Ability to listen well and follow directions.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills while working as part of a team.
A commitment to customer service and professional representation.
Reliable and punctual attendance.
Physically fit and able to work long days outdoors.
Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
Basic reading and writing skills.
High integrity, honesty, and character.
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Good judgment and sound decision making.
Initiative and proactive improvement focus.
Experience with erosion‑control tools and equipment (preferred).
Experience pulling a trailer (preferred).
Reliable cell phone.
