Housekeeper – Avista Senior Living
Spring Gardens Assisted Living in St George, UT is seeking a compassionate and thoughtful Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents and staff.
Duties / Responsibilities
Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, and heating/cooling units in residents’ rooms and community living/recreational areas.
Sanitize bathroom fixtures and remove water marks.
Sweep, dust, mop, wax, buff, and disinfect floors, ensuring CAUTION/SAFETY signs are set up before duties.
Vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, and disinfect carpets as instructed.
Wash, wipe, dust, spot clean, disinfect, and deodorize walls and ceilings as instructed.
Remove dirt, dust, grease, film from surfaces using proper solutions.
Clean hallways as necessary or instructed.
Dispose of waste/trash into proper containers and re‑line receptacles with plastic liners.
Qualifications
Experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Experience in customer service is highly desired.
Upbeat and positive team player attitude.
Strong judgment and solutions‑oriented.
