Primary Responsibilities
Provide security coverage at multiple sites, covering open shifts, call‑offs, or special assignments as directed.
Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect unauthorized activity or safety hazards.
Control access to facilities by verifying identification and credentials.
Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and security equipment.
Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
Enforce site‑specific policies, rules, and regulations professionally and fairly.
Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, visitors, and the public.
Complete clear, accurate, and timely reports on incidents and daily activities.
Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
For armed roles: Maintain safe and responsible handling of assigned firearms, using them only when legally justified and in compliance with all policies, training, and laws.
Remain flexible and prepared to work different shifts, locations, and site types on short notice.
Attend and complete all required training, including site‑specific orientations and firearms qualifications if applicable.
Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
Ability to work at different locations and adapt to diverse site requirements.
Excellent communication, observation, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong commitment to customer service and professionalism.
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
For armed assignments: Valid state‑issued armed security license/permit, proof of firearms training/qualification, and compliance with all legal requirements.
Must pass background check, drug screening, and any required psychological evaluations.
Physically capable of standing, walking, or driving for extended periods and responding rapidly to incidents.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and last‑minute assignments.
