Join a compassionate nonprofit team dedicated to helping children and young adults (ages 5–21) with autism spectrum disorders, developmental and intellectual disabilities, and other neurological or behavioral challenges. This program provides high-quality, evidence-based special education and therapeutic services in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to help students reach their full potential—academically, socially, and behaviorally. You’ll work closely with behavior analysts, clinicians, and classroom staff to ensure every child receives the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
Implement behavior support and teaching plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
Collect and analyze data to track student progress
Supervise and coach classroom staff
Maintain a safe, structured learning environment
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Year‑round school calendar
Compensation
Level 1 SPED Cert or Emergency Cert (Bachelor’s): $61,360+ based on experience
Level 1 SPED Cert with Master’s: $66,000+ based on experience
Level 2 SPED Cert or Master’s + BCBA: $72,000+ based on experience
$20,000 New Hire Bonus!
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
PA Special Education K–12 Certification (or eligible for emergency certification)
Experience and strong interest in autism education and ABA methods
Minimum age 21 with a valid U.S. driver’s license
At least 1–2 years working with students with developmental or behavioral needs
