Reporting to the Supervisor of Lincoln Center Campus and Facilities Operations, the Cleaner I provides cleaning and portering services throughout the University complex.
This position requires work hours Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 PM.
Essential Functions
Provides cleaning and portering services in both academic and residential University buildings.
Removes recyclables and trash in accordance with University procedures.
Delivers mail in the buildings.
Rearranges furniture and performs move jobs when requested.
Keeps building entrances and perimeters clear of snow, ice, leaves, garbage, and other debris as needed.
Must sign in and out for all keys.
Performs other duties as required.

Required Qualifications Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of six months of prior cleaning experience.
Knowledge and Skills
Must be able to read and follow written instructions in English.
Must have knowledge of general cleaning techniques and preventative maintenance, including standard use of power washers, stand‑up vacuums & backpack vacuums.
