About Atlas Villas Memory Care:
Atlas Villas Memory Care is a family-owned, intimate 16‑room community in Centerville, MN, dedicated to providing personalized care to residents living with memory loss. Our mission is to create a warm, home‑like environment where residents feel supported, respected, and cared for. We are seeking a compassionate On‑Call Caregiver to join our dedicated team, providing essential care to our residents as needed.
Position Overview: As an On‑Call Caregiver at Atlas Villas Memory Care, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents by providing care and support when regular staff are unavailable. This position offers flexibility and the chance to work in a compassionate, supportive environment. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor their well‑being, and ensure their needs are met with respect and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care Assistance: Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating, ensuring they are comfortable and treated with dignity.
Health Monitoring: Observe residents’ health and report any changes in condition to the RN or management team. Provide basic first aid and emergency care as needed.
Mobility Support: Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility to maintain resident comfort and safety.
Medication Assistance: Help residents with medication reminders and support as directed by the care plan.
Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide friendly, compassionate companionship to residents, offering emotional support and engaging in activities that foster well‑being.
Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure that residents’ living areas are clean, organized, and safe.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the care team to ensure continuity of care, and communicate effectively with families and medical staff regarding any concerns.
Qualifications: Previous caregiving experience in a memory care, assisted living, or similar setting is preferred.
Compassionate, patient, and detail‑oriented approach to caregiving.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed.
A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with memory loss.
