FedEx is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as
Seasonal FedEx Ground Handlers
during our peak operational period. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking for short-term employment with competitive peak pay incentives. As a Ground Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring packages are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to meet FedExs high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Load, unload, sort, and scan packages within the FedEx Ground facility.
Handle packages of varying sizes and weights in a safe and efficient manner.
Operate basic material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and conveyor systems.
Ensure accurate package placement and routing according to delivery destinations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Follow all FedEx safety procedures, policies, and operational guidelines.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily volume targets.
Report damaged packages, safety concerns, or operational issues promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages up to 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding, warehouse environment.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays during peak season.
Experience
No prior warehouse or logistics experience required;
entry-level candidates are welcome .
Previous experience in warehousing, package handling, or logistics is an advantage but not mandatory.
On-the-job training will be provided to ensure success in the role.
Working Hours
Seasonal, part-time or full-time opportunities depending on operational needs.
Multiple shifts available, including early morning, daytime, evening, and overnight shifts.
Peak season schedules may include extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Flexible scheduling options to accommodate availability where possible.
