Position Summary Provides information and call routing for persons contacting the college via telephone in a proactive, responsive, and customer friendly manner. Greets guests, students, and others in a friendly manner while visiting the campus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responds to calls to the main college telephone line, providing information and call routing.

Assists the Executive Vice President of Academics with unit tasks, as needed.

Assists the Student Services Division and Emerging Technology and Workforce Division with operations of the Call Center, as needed.

Assists with clerical duties and other administrative duties as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required Education : HS diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education :

Required Experience : Experience as an office receptionist and/or switchboard operator.

Preferred Experience :

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to treat all persons with respect, dignity and justice, without discrimination based upon age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation or gender identity; ability to exercise the highest professional and ethical standards in the use of College time and resources and observe the stated policies and procedures of the College; ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents; ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community; and, ability to effectively present information to various groups if necessary.
