Responsibilities
Responsible for managing EHS Team to support business operations over multiple sites Review policies and practices to ensure relevance and being up to date in line with regulatory changes Advise and drive project management on compliance with all EH&S related legislations & best practices Undertakes analysis of the EHS performances and allocating resources to improve performance Managing department resources including manpower, internal assets and external vendors Provides technical advice & support to other department on EHS related matters Organize and act as Secretary in the daily VSCC meeting Inspect, endorse and coordinate yard/vessel permit-to-work system Organize and conduct project EH&S inspection daily and record findings Investigate accident/incident and near misses Coordinate and lead the emergency team in the event of emergency Requirements
Degree/Diploma/NTC in EHS/Engrg with 3 years of relevant experience. Possess Hotwork Assessor Certification Confined Space Assessor Registration is an added advantage Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health Act & Ship building & Ship repairing regulation Good understanding of MOM safety management system Good report writing & incident investigation & analytical skills Possess competency in Marine Emergency Response – Vessel Firefighting, Rescue & Oil Pollution Operations Possess competency in the EHS & Fire Safety related Acts & Regulations Possess competency in OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SMS, ISRS, CONSAS audit system and certification Possess strong leadership & interpersonal skills to build partnerships with various stakeholders in the organization Only Singapore Citizens need apply Other Information
Location: Changi (Island-wide transport provided) 5 days work week Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
