Position Overview Spectra Tech, Inc. is seeking
Development Technicians
to support technical and development activities in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment. This role supports engineering, testing, and development efforts and may involve hands‑on technical work, data collection, equipment support, and collaboration with engineering and scientific teams. Multiple technician levels may be considered based on education and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support development, testing, and evaluation activities for technical programs
Assist engineers and scientists with hands‑on laboratory, facility, or equipment‑based work
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot technical equipment as required
Collect, document, and report technical data accurately
Follow established procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards
Support continuous improvement and development efforts
Education and Experience Requirements by Level Technician I
Associate’s degree or higher with little or no experience, or
High school diploma with 1–4 years of experience
Technician II / III
Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field with 6–10 years of related experience
Technician IV
High school diploma with 13–19 years of relevant experience
Qualifications
Technical background or relevant education and experience appropriate to technician‑level roles
Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and procedures
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment
Willingness to work onsite in a controlled or secure environment
