Overview Are you a Gulfstream expert who enjoys sharing knowledge, solving problems, and elevating the next generation of maintenance professionals? AAMT is expanding, and we’re looking for a full-time Senior Gulfstream Technical Training Instructor with deep Gulfstream experience to join our growing team.
This role combines high-level technical expertise, hands‑on aircraft knowledge, and engaging instruction delivered both online and on‑site worldwide. If you want a role where your experience truly makes an impact, this is it.
What You'll Do
Deliver engaging virtual and in‑person type training on aircraft systems, troubleshooting, airworthiness, safety and maintenance procedures.
Conduct hands‑on practical instruction in hangar environments when required.
Assess and evaluate student performance in both classroom and practical settings.
Provide subject‑matter feedback to support ongoing course development and refinement.
Complete all required training documentation in line with AAMT quality standards.
Travel as needed throughout the U.S. and internationally to deliver on‑site customer training.
Responsibilities We’re looking for a confident, energetic instructor or technician who enjoys working with people as much as they enjoy working on aircraft.
Required Background
10+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
Significant experience in line, base, troubleshooting or AOG environments.
Current or past maintenance certifying privileges (A&P, EASA B1/B2, or equivalent).
Strong communication skills and excellent command of English.
Formal training and hands‑on experience on one or more of the following Gulfstream types: G650/G650ER, G500/G600.
Nice‑to‑Haves
Previous experience as a technical instructor (not required—we will train you).
Additional business jet experience (Falcon, Bombardier, Embraer, etc.).
Avionics or mechanical specialization on Gulfstream aircraft.
