We're looking to add a Seasonal Receptionist to our Salem, OH office to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. This is a temporary position that will run from January - April 2026.
Our Receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. Ultimately, a Receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary.
Welcome and direct visitors and clients.
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
Candidate must possess the following qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conduct
Ability to evaluate situations and modify behavior accordingly
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships through all levels of the organization
Demonstrates ability to take initiative and exercise time management skills
Possess good analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
Minimum of high school degree
