What You’ll Do
Collect, sort, and wash resident and facility laundry according to infection control standards
Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Fold, organize, and distribute clean linens and clothing to appropriate areas
Monitor laundry supplies and report inventory needs
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the laundry room and equipment
Follow proper procedures for handling soiled items and personal belongings
Assist with labeling and organizing resident clothing
Communicate with nursing and housekeeping teams to ensure timely service
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare settings a plus
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to follow safety and infection control protocols
Reliable and punctual work habits
