Holiday Cottage Assistant Housekeeper
Location: Lindisfarne Priory, Holy Island, Berwick-upon‑Tweed, Northumberland, TD15 2RX
Salary: £12.39 per hour – rate depends on skills, experience and location
Contract: 5 hours per week – part‑time, permanent
Responsibilities
Support the housekeeper to maintain the Coastguard's Cottage to a 5‑star standard
Report defects promptly and ensure issues raised by guests are resolved promptly
Check guest supplies regularly and report any shortages
Assist with cleaning and presentation of holiday accommodation to a high standard
Help maintain health and safety, security and visitor service standards
Qualifications
Experience of cleaning and presenting holiday accommodation to a high standard
Excellent customer service experience
Attention to detail – maintain the Visit England 5‑star Gold Award
General awareness of health and safety and security issues
Good numeracy and writing skills
Ability to prioritise own work and meet deadlines
