$25-30/HR Anistar is seeking experienced Cable Technicians for a long term contract opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables. The ideal candidate will work under general supervision with a highly analytical and problem-solving mindset, and must be able to work as a team player. Responsibilities
Pull, term, and test fiber optic cable Install J Hooks Qualifications
1+ year of experience in commercial or data center cabling Experience pulling and terminating cables Ability to climb ladders and insert cable in Access Points Solid base knowledge of conduits Coax certifications are a plus Knowledge/Skills
Technicians should be familiar with various cables including twisted pair, coax, power-limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, CAT-5, CAT-6, and fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes pulling, placement, termination, testing, and labeling. Knowledge of telecom systems, TCP/IP networks, CCTV security, access control, and wireless solutions is valuable. BICSI certification (current or past) is a plus but not required. About Us
