Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs designed to support our team members' financial, physical, and mental well-being. Responsibilities
Parking and retrieval of guest vehicles upon arrival and departure from the property.
Parks guests cars upon arrival
Retrieves guest’s cars upon departure
Answers any questions upon arrival
Providing the highest level of guest service - A thorough knowledge of the property
Train new team members (Valet Attendants only) - Other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Ability to operate various motor vehicles
Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission
Ability to perform basic math functions
Excellent communication skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
Understand and comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures
Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues
Learn specific job duties and complete work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
Ability to work and make decisions under stressful conditions
Ability to stand for long periods of time; withstand various temperature changes; withstand high frequency noises, sounds, and tones.
Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in operating various motor vehicles and vehicles with a manual transmissions.
Required Certification/License Valid Michigan Driver’s license.
