Lead Montessori Guide
for our
Primary (3–6)
classroom. This role is well-suited for an experienced Montessori professional who values pedagogical integrity, professional autonomy, and meaningful collaboration within a thoughtfully prepared environment.
A
Montessori 3–6 certification from a MACTE-accredited training program is required . We are looking for a Lead Guide who brings confidence, warmth, and intentionality to their practice, and who takes pride in cultivating a calm, purposeful classroom community grounded in authentic Montessori principles.

Core Responsibilities
Lead and steward a peaceful, engaging Primary classroom rooted in Montessori philosophy
Demonstrate reliability, consistency, and professionalism in daily practice
Present Montessori materials with fidelity and monitor student progress over time
Observe children carefully and intervene intentionally to support independence, concentration, and social-emotional development
Communicate clearly and respectfully with families, assistant teachers, administrators, and colleagues
Maintain accurate and timely student records using Montessori Compass
Prepare, organize, and maintain the classroom environment and materials daily
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and required trainings
Collaborate openly, accept feedback thoughtfully, and contribute positively to the broader school community
Perform additional duties as needed to support program quality and school operations
Qualifications
Montessori 3–6 certification from a MACTE-accredited training program (required)
Ability to provide three professional references upon hire
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Ability to transition quickly between seated and standing positions to support students
Ability to pass all required background checks and TB testing
