About the role
Teach Now are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join one of their schools in Palmers Green. The school is a one-form entry Primary school in Palmers Green, located in one of the most affluent areas of North London and is known for its excellent training and development scheme.
The role is on a long term basis, Monday to Friday and during term times and you will be working in KS1 and KS2, assisting groups of children as well as the class teachers. The successful TA must be able to commit for the whole duration of the academic year, as consistency is key.
Qualifications
Excellent knowledge of UK Curriculum
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant across KS1 and KS2
Understanding of children’s development
Experience working with children with SEN including ASD, ADHD and EAL
Ability to engage and motivate children
Ability to manage challenging behaviours
Ability to be flexible and proactive
