We are currently recruiting for a
Camp Cook
to serve meals at the Achievement Centers for Children’s Camp Cheerful, located on 52 acres of woods, trails, fields, and aquatic areas of the Cleveland Metroparks.
About the Camp The camp offers traditional activities such as hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature study, games, campfire activities, music, and sports. We also provide year‑round therapeutic horseback riding and a state‑of‑the‑art, fully handicap‑accessible high ropes challenge course.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals tailored to each camper’s dietary requirements.
Adhere to health and safety standards in a childcare setting.
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and storage areas.
Qualifications
Minimum of two years’ food‑service experience in a health‑care or dietary setting.
High‑school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience with quantity cooking and specialized dietary needs.
ServSafe certification and/or Person‑in‑Charge certification a plus, but not required.
Camp dates: June 8th – August 10th. Come join the fun!
