Current County issued Food Handlers card or online card obtained through StateFoodSafety.com within 1 week of hire.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:****EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:**1. High school diploma or equivalent.**CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position.

Other duties may be assigned.1. Assembles patient trays.
Performs assigned duties on the trayline accurately and efficiently.
2. Delivers/collects patient trays to/from the patient safely and accurately.3. Prepares and delivers nourishments to patients according to established procedures.4. Portions food items for patients and guests according to department standards.5. Monitors, records and maintains proper temperature control of all food products to assure food safety.6. Labels, dates, rotates and stores all products in foodservice area.7. Operates all food service equipment according to manufacture guidelines and in a safe manner.8. Maintains sanitation standards and equipment is cleaned daily and in accordance to standards.9. Attends in- service education and department meetings and adheres to hospital/department policies and procedures.
