The Tatnall School is seeking a long-term substitute in our math department effective January 12, 2026. The ideal candidate has experience teaching and a background in mathematics.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Teach five sections:
Assess and provide feedback on student learning
Assist as an advisor to Upper School students
Additional Responsibilities:
Create a positive atmosphere
Demonstrates a student-centered approach to education
Ability to work closely and collegially with students, faculty, administrators, and parents in a lively independent school setting.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and community through culturally responsive and identity-affirming practices
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Fulfill other faculty duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Mathematics coursework and/or applied mathematics experience preferred
Teaching experience preferred; mentorship available
