Job Overview The Aircraft Fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling, defueling, and servicing of aircraft at the airport. The role requires accurate mathematical calculations for weight, measurement, and volume to interpret aircraft load instructions, as well as maintaining a safe work environment through adherence to health, safety, and security policies.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, driving and operating fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft
Accurately account for fuel transactions
Perform daily quality control checks on equipment, maintaining equipment in clean and functional condition
Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel
Defuel aircraft as directed
Qualifications
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English and performing basic math calculations
Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. while handling fueling carts and hoses
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
