Job Details Compensation:

Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. The hourly base pay range for this position is $10-$12 per hour plus $12-$14 per hour in tips.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule for this position is dependent upon hotel business volumes which will be discussed during the interview. Afternoon/Evening availability is recommended.

Eligibility requirements depend on your job classification, length of employment and number of hours worked. Seasonally and temporarily assigned roles are not eligible for the benefits outlined above.

Summary:

The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely, assisting guests with luggage, and delivering a high‑quality customer experience during arrival and departure.

Essential Functions

Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; greets guests within five feet with a professional greeting; uses guest last names during interactions. (25%)

Uses proper phone etiquette and presents the hotel professionally while away from the station. Requires posting time in designated areas. (10%)

Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with luggage storage, opens all vehicle and hotel doors, and protects vehicle contents. (20%)

Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about amenities and attractions; delivers messages, items, and/or services as requested; shuttles guests to approved locations. (10%)

Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collects them prior to issuing keys; consistently completes and maintains ticket information; calculates revenue as needed. (35%)

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:

Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment.

Work Experience:

One (1) month related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge:

Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Skills:

Ability to read, write, and comprehend standard English language and simple instructions.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group settings.

Basic arithmetic ability (addition, subtraction,, division with units of American money).

Ability to understand 24‑hour and military time systems.

Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed.

Operating a manual transmission is highly desirable.

Perform parallel parking.

Scope Authority To Act:

The job is fairly routine; the incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties are performed with specific directions given and work is checked or verified frequently.

Budget Responsibility:

The employee has control over available resources only.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands While performing job functions, regular verbal and hearing communication is required. The employee may need to sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, reach hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Lifting Requirements:

Exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, or up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.

Working Environment:

The majority of work will be performed outdoors for extended periods, including exposure to extreme heat and cold weather. Weather protection may be limited.

Travel:

Travel of up to 5% may be required.
