Primary Responsibilities:
The Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of all spa facilities while delivering friendly, attentive guest service. This role supports departmental goals by ensuring a hygienic environment, assisting guests, and responding promptly to spa operational needs.
Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of all spa areas, equipment, and amenities.
Clean and disinfect all spa equipment and surfaces; mop floors regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Clean and maintain all spa facility areas, including tables, chairs, walkways, locker rooms, restrooms, showers, relaxation areas, retail areas, and outdoor spa spaces.
Monitor and maintain water and wellness stations to ensure cleanliness and adequate water, refreshments and snack supply.
Collect, clean, fold, and restock all hand towels, bath and pool towels, and robes throughout operating hours.
Clean, restock, and organize men’s and women’s locker rooms, restrooms, and shower areas.
Conduct routine patrols of the spa to ensure compliance with established rules, policies, and safety standards; address and report concerns with professionalism and discretion.
Identify, report, and when appropriate, assist in resolving broken, damaged, or hazardous conditions or equipment.
Check in spa guests, issue lockers, and provide detailed tours of locker room and spa facilities.
Stay engaged with guests and ensure they are where they need to be in time for their services.
Answer guest inquiries in person and by phone; assist with basic spa reservations and requests when required.
Support daily spa operations and assist other spa team members as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Strong guest-service orientation with a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Ability to remain flexible, adaptable, and energetic in a fast‑paced spa environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling demanding guests or situations.
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with a guest‑first mindset.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guest and spa information.
Working Conditions:
Work Hours:
Must be able to work shift and days determined by the Manager.
Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week, when needed.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs
Equipment Use:
Comfortable using computerized systems, including POS and basic inventory software.
Mental and Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Must be physically active and comfortable performing repetitive tasks such as cleaning and linen handling.
Communication Demands:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High school diploma or higher required.
Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
Previous customer service experience in a spa, hospitality, or related service environment preferred.
