Base Pay $20.90 hourly, Non‑Exempt
Position Summary The NARA NW Child Care Workers play a vital role in nurturing and supporting young children’s development. They create a safe, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
What You Will Do
Provide education and recreational activities for children.
Notify Children’s Case Manager and the Child Development Center Managers of children’s progress or problems regarding childcare.
Help facilitate ASQ questionnaire/SE for all children within required timeframes.
Keep documentation daily of child’s progress.
Know and practice child safety policies and procedures in manual and complete required PSU training.
Assure the safety of children and maintain a safe environment.
Follow policies and procedures per NARA NW, DELC, DHS, and OSHA regulations.
Prepare and serve snacks to children.
Location & Schedule Adult Residential – 17645 NW St. Helens Hwy, Portland, OR 97231 Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Occasional weekends and evenings required.
