The Reeds Spring Middle School is seeking an energetic, student-centered teacher to teach English Language Arts for grades 7‑8. The teacher will demonstrate a variety of instructional strategies that create an optimum learning environment, work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve department and school goals, and contribute to the school’s goals of academic and personal excellence.
The school serves approximately 250 students in grades 7‑8, offers a competitive salary, additional benefits, and has transitioned to a 4‑day school week. Coaching duties may also be available for qualified applicants.
Essential Qualifications
Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate in English Language Arts or a written plan of obtaining certification.
Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
Demonstrated ability to use a variety of instructional strategies.
Strong collaborative skills and commitment to achieving department and school goals.
