What is Your Role?

To make “Raving Fans” of our Associates, Guests, Purveyors, Partners, and the Communities in which we do business.

Summary:

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of hot and cold food items, including salad mixes, sauces, side dishes, and appetizers. The cook will portion, wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, pasta, and other ingredients. Duties also involve carving and slicing meats and cheeses, measuring and mixing ingredients for dressings and sauces, and following recipes to produce food items that meet company specifications.

Essential Functions of the Position

Report to work on time as indicated on the work schedule and maintain a uniform that meets restaurant requirements.

Prepare all food to ensure items are produced according to company specifications, recipes, and quality standards.

Display proper food‑safety techniques, including hygiene, hand washing, gloves, and knife skills.

Know emergency procedures for the restaurant.

Maintain the highest degree of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety for the work area.

Accomplish all duties while adhering to safety guidelines; immediately report any unsafe condition.
