Responsibilities
Observe and patrol pool and enforce safety regulations. Provide excellent service consistent with the Country Club standards operating procedures and brand attributes. Greet all Members upon arrival, distribute towels, offer assistance with seating, and deliver consistent Member service, exceeding Member expectations, and providing all other supporting services. Be knowledgeable of club facilities and services to answer guest inquiries. Identify and report defects throughout the pool area, notify supervisors and concerned departments immediately of hazards, injuries, equipment or processes that negatively affect the operations. Ensure the pool deck is swept and watered down and that all furniture is in the correct place most of the time. Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to establish a safe work environment for self and others. Work closely with other departments that are essential to ensuring a positive Member experience. Properly utilize performance feedback, recognition, training, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements. Wash, dry and fold pool towels as needed. Assist in Locker Room Facilities. Replenish shower and vanity items as needed, ensuring they are never less than half full. Assist with monthly product inventory. Report any maintenance issues or repairs to supervisor and necessary department, ensuring timely follow‑up. During lap swimming times ensure lap lanes are installed and retracted as per hours listed. Ensure facilities are kept clean and tidy throughout the day. Assist in other areas/departments as and when needed. Requirements
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. Must have previous customer service experience. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Hospitality experience is preferred. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a desire to exceed member service expectations. Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and work outdoors in various climates. AED/CPR certification is helpful. Non‑tipping property. DFWP/EOE. Equal Opportunity Employer.
