About the Role SecurTec is seeking an Armed Security Officer to provide security services for a high-activity residential community in West Palm Beach. This environment requires strong situational awareness, firm but respectful communication, and the ability to manage encounters with a wide range of individuals.
This is an active post where your presence, professionalism, and consistency directly contribute to maintaining order and safety in the community.
Key Responsibilities Maintain a highly visible armed presence throughout the property
Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking lots, and common areas
Monitor entry and exit points; verify resident and visitor access
Respond promptly to disturbances, safety issues, and emergency situations
De-escalate conflicts professionally and enforce community rules
Document all daily activities and incidents accurately
Build rapport with residents while maintaining firm boundaries and professionalism
Requirements
Requirements Valid Florida Class G Security License (required)
Strong situational awareness and conflict-management skills
Ability to patrol on foot and remain alert throughout the shift
Professional communication and presence
Reliable transportation
Availability during late afternoon into early evening hours
Preferred Qualifications Experience working in busy or high-activity residential environments
Military, law enforcement, or advanced security training
CPR/First Aid/AED certification
