SecurTec is seeking seasoned qualified current or former Military or Law Enforcement professionals to serve as security officers at a premier marina in the West Palm Beach area. This property features dining, dry-docks, wet-docks and staff lounges.
The Security Officer will manage access control to the property, provide roving across the site, and ensure all security functions meet SecurTec’s standards and the client’s expectations.
This is a hands‑on customer service role requiring the greeting and escorting of visitors and staff, strong communication skills, and the ability to model professionalism. Start date is January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Escort and greet staff, employees, and visitors, maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
Conduct roving patrols of the entire property throughout the duration of the shift.
Manage access control to the property when not conducting roving patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to support the team and ensure service excellence.
Respond to incidents and emergencies with decisiveness and sound judgment.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and logs.
Represent SecurTec with professionalism, discretion, and integrity at all times.
Requirements
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is REQUIRED.
Current or former Military or Law Enforcement experience is strongly preferred.
Prior experience in executive protection, hospitality security, or high‑profile environments strongly preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead by example.
High level of situational awareness and problem‑solving ability.
Professional appearance and customer‑service‑driven mindset.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and peak hours.
Valid
Florida Class D Security License
(Class G preferred).
Reliable transportation.
