Kids R Kids Houston Heights is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Closing Teacher to join our team. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children during the closing hours of our daycare center, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to fostering children's development in a positive and engaging way.
Responsibilities
Supervise and ensure the safety of children during closing hours.
Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
Prepare and maintain a clean, organized classroom setting.
Communicate effectively with parents and staff about children’s progress and daily activities.
Maintain compliance with all state licensing and company policies.
Requirements
Previous experience in early childhood education or daycare environment preferred.
Ability to engage and connect with children in a positive manner.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
