Responsibilities
Ensure the Housekeeping Supervisor in Stowe, VT, US maintains regular attendance and punctuality to distribute workload equitably among team members.
Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to accommodate hotel and guest needs, which may include weekends, nights, and holidays.
Maintain effective verbal and written communication skills to facilitate appropriate interactions with guests and coworkers.
Exhibit a positive attitude by being courteous, polite, and helpful to guests and colleagues in alignment with company values.
Adhere strictly to all hotel policies and procedures, including privacy standards for guests.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper through training, coaching, and feedback.
Conduct daily inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction are consistently met.
Document issues that arise from room inspections.
Offer hands-on assistance to staff in cleaning and maintaining the hotel, including performing Room Attendant duties.
Supervise housekeeping closets and the performance of housemen to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking.
Manage laundry operations efficiently, including inventory of chemicals, cleaning, organizing, and handling reclaimed items.
Qualifications
