Job Summary The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. Accountable for serving guests in designated outlet according to service specifications of that outlet and to provide the guests with an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities
Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect the guest/employee experience. Demonstrate resiliency dealing with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
Responsible for complete and accurate set-up and breakdown of the dining room in a timely manner.
Assure the efficient smooth serving of guests in a timely manner following the appropriate sequence of service for the outlet.
Complete all side duties as assigned by the outlet manager or supervisor.
Enter all orders correctly into the POS system to ensure a positive experience for the guest as well as protecting the assets of the company.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
Ensures the proper service of alcohol by following the current laws of the state and the policies of the company.
Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions / Essential Functions
Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, Micros, telephone, carts, tables.
Ability to work independently with little direction.
Ability to stand, bend and move for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift (up to 40 lbs.).
Ability to observe and to give appropriate feedback.
Ability to work in areas exposed to all temperatures, dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals. Use of elevators, stairs, and escalator.
Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoke filled casino environment with above average noise levels.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of employees.
Ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
Availability to work scheduled workdays, 7 days a week, varied work schedules and holidays.
Ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions.
Ability to work well with other people in a timely manner, according to standards.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Good oral communications skills.
Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude at all times.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Valid Missouri Gaming license.
Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
Must complete all required company training.
