Responsibilities
This position works out of the Alpena area.
Diagnose problems with equipment and engines.
Perform all possible field repairs associated with the diagnosis.
Locate and order parts as required, coordinating with parts drivers when necessary.
Write detailed service reports for internal and external requirements.
Maintain own equipment.
Build productive customer relationships to benefit all involved.
Qualifications
Proven track record of performing and fixing equipment/engines in a timely manner to required quality standards.
Ability to self-motivate and self-manage time.
A record of promptness to arrive at and leave work on time.
Strong communication and listening skills to understand customer needs and perform necessary work.
Strong writing skills to complete detailed service reports.
Current DOT Medical Card.
Current Class A CDL.
