Responsibilities
The LifeWorks Day School in Levittown, PA is currently hiring a Personal Care Assistant for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a per diem position; the candidate will work only when the student attends school. The PCA is assigned to one or more students who need one‑on‑one assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in the school setting. The PCA directly supports the students at the direction of the teacher and is under the general supervision of the program supervisor of special education.
LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school affected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. The LifeWorks comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro‑social behavioral and educational outcomes.
