Assistant Coach Football Offensive Line

Responsibilities
Assist Head Coach in all aspects of the sport.
Assist with recruiting, scouting, telephoning, home visits, and school visits.
Assist with fundraising.
Drive college vehicles, when necessary, for team trips.
Assist Head Coach with record keeping and management of JV team.
Assist with opposition scouting.
Assist with academic monitoring and academic advising.
Assist in athletic camps.
Assist with game management duties.
Responsible for one night a week of wellness/open gym supervision.
Ability to pass a background check and MVR.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Athletic Director and/or President.
Education Associate degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience Experience coaching/playing in the sport, college level preferred. Experience recruiting college athletes preferred.
Typical Physical Demands Requires prolonged standing. Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. Requires lifting and operating football equipment.
Typical Working Conditions Work is routinely performed in and outdoor/indoor field environment. Also working routinely outside in a variety of environmental conditions both on and off the fields. Frequent contact with students. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires ability to distinguish letters or symbols. Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, telephone, faxes, and copiers.
