Flanigan’s Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a friendly and hospitable host to greet guests as the first smiling face when they enter and as the last as they leave. You set the tone of the experience, guiding guests to their tables, managing seating flow, fielding inquiries, and providing “Smile Talk” on the way in and out.
Responsibilities
Display a cheerful and courteous temperament and maintain a neat, clean professional image.
Greet guests with Flanigan’s "Smile Talk".
Engage guests in "Smile Talk" while escorting them to their table in a timely manner.
Efficiently manage the wait list for seating.
Communicate guest questions or concerns to the Manager on duty.
Keep the foyer, host/hostess station, and wait area clean and free of debris; restock and clean menus.
Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests.
Answer the telephone within four rings and direct guests to the proper staff member, or provide information.
Conclude guests’ visits with Flanigan’s "Smile Talk".
Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned side‑work.
Qualifications
Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Complete and pass the Florida Responsible Vendor program.
Complete and pass the Food Safety certification program.
Five‑day work week.
Benefits
Paid vacation: one week after year one, two weeks after two years, and three weeks after ten years.
