Ensure safety of every class and teach swim skills following our curriculum
Build water confidence in students and encourage progress
Communicate regularly with students and colleagues
Be receptive to feedback and pursue continuous learning
Assist on the pool deck as needed and report to the Deck or Site Supervisor
Maintain a friendly, enthusiastic attitude throughout the shift
Qualifications
Compassion for children and adults
Ability to work in the water for up to 5 hours per shift
Strong communication skills
Positive attitude and openness to coaching
Capacity to focus in a fast‑paced environment
Commitment to at least 1 year of employment; afternoons and weekends required
