Service and Support Technician (Industrial Battery Systems) About the Role The Service and Support Technician provides hands‑on technical service and customer support for industrial battery chargers and lithium‑ion energy systems. This position focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled problem‑solver who enjoys working in the field, supporting clients, and improving system performance through proactive maintenance and expert diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and field service for industrial battery chargers and lithium‑ion systems.

Perform on‑site diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer locations.

Assist with installations, commissioning, and system start‑ups.

Document service activities, repairs, and test results in the service management system.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate feedback to internal teams.

Train customers on equipment operation, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices.

Maintain tools, test equipment, and company assets in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, maintenance, or field service roles, ideally with industrial or battery systems.

Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including use of multimeters and related tools.

Solid understanding of electrical schematics, circuits, and system components.

Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional, solution‑oriented approach.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with service documentation systems.

Ability to travel domestically as required for on‑site service calls.

Desired Qualifications

Experience servicing industrial power systems, energy storage, or battery charging technology.

Knowledge of lithium‑ion technologies and electrical safety protocols.

Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
