Our people are our most important asset, and we are looking to expand our production team. Training starts at $21.53 per hour. Operators make $27 plus shift differential. Our production team is unionized and we make the highest quality products in the corrugated industry.
2nd Shift: 3 pm – 1 am. We work 8‑to‑10‑hour shifts, 5 days per week plus every other Saturday. Overtime over 40 hours is paid at time and one‑half. If you are a team player, enjoy meeting and exceeding goals each shift, consider talking to us.
How You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock The Production Team Member will safely perform a wide range of tasks, conducting quality checks, material set‑up, machine set‑up and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, be able to work in a fast‑paced environment, and have a desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery and high‑powered equipment.

What You Need To Succeed
Experience with high‑speed, high‑volume work; manufacturing or similar experience preferred
Willingness and ability to operate manufacturing equipment, follow specific direction, operate powered equipment, and perform other duties as assigned
Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, lift, reach and kneel for up to 12 hours a day and lift up to 25 pounds frequently
Ability to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts; shift availability cannot be guaranteed
Basic math and computer skills, including reading a tape measure
Reliable transportation
Strong attendance record
Desire to build a career at Smurfit Westrock, with advancement, transfer opportunities and tuition reimbursement after 6 months
The salary for this position is $21.53 per hour. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, paid sick leave, and 3.34 hours of paid vacation per month. Paid holidays include 13 days each year. The application window closes on 1/19/26.
