Wheelchair Transport Driver – Atlanta, GA
Navarre Corporation invites applications for the Wheelchair Transport Driver role, a full‑time position requiring weekend availability. The position is focused on safe, reliable transportation of veterans within designated service areas.
Responsibilities
Operate a company‑provided shuttle or sedan safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical or maintenance issues.
Assist passengers, including those using wheelchairs or other mobility aids, in boarding and alighting; secure wheelchairs and scooters during transit.
Maintain effective communication with dispatch, reporting deviations, accidents, passenger incidents, or mechanical problems promptly; complete written reports accurately.
Provide passenger guidance and inform passengers about rules and regulations to ensure a safe and comfortable travel experience.
Assist passengers with loading and stowing luggage, ensuring belongings are handled with care.
Physical requirements: lift 75 lbs, push/pull 80 lbs horizontally, exert up to 50 lbs of hand force, climb steps, kneel, sit for prolonged periods.
Pay and Benefits
Starting wage: $17.20 per hour.
Additional benefits: $4.57 per hour in benefits, as required by federal regulations.

Must provide housing for a vehicle, preferably a commercial utility van, at your residence, bearing the Navarre logo.
