About the Position Myers Park Country Club is looking for someone who can provide our members with a positive first impression by greeting everyone with courtesy, kindness, and a spirit of hospitality. The ideal men’s locker room attendant has weekday availability from 1–7pm and possesses excellent customer service, organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail. They are an energetic individual with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Come ready to earn a commission, as this role is eligible for it!
Responsibilities
Recall member preferences and demonstrate exceptional character in the performance of job duties.
Perform personal services for members, such as shining shoes.
Restock and maintain inventory of all supplies within the restrooms, showers, locker room, steam room, and fitness area.
Perform general housekeeping functions such as vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, sweeping, polishing, dusting, emptying wastebaskets, maintaining cleanliness of restrooms and showers, etc.
Follow safety precautions such as handling and using cleaning solutions for their intended purpose, storing chemicals and cleaning supplies in the appropriate locations with correct labeling, and operating equipment (shoeshine machine, hand tools) according to manufacturer’s specifications.
Physical Requirements
Perform most work in standing position with frequent bending, stooping, and twisting.
Carry, push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds several times per shift.
Work in wet, humid environment and walk on wet surfaces.
Experience
One year of prior customer service and/or custodial experience; country club setting preferred.
