Through the Acadomi, we are growing our organization and providing hands‑on training, mentorships, and growth opportunities within our company. Recent Graduate candidates will work full‑time with seasoned recruiters and account executives to gain a foundation for the IT industry – from best recruiting practices to account management. Responsibilities

Participate in an informative 2‑month training program with experienced Recruiters and Account Executives to boost your career in IT recruiting

Work closely with a Team Lead to perfect your skills in sourcing, interviewing, and submitting candidates

Gain experience in cold calling, interacting, and prospecting new business

Gain a foundation for Optomi’s recruiting and sales process to eventually move into a Technical Recruiter role

What does a Technical Recruiter do for Optomi?

Use various job platforms to search for and reach out to qualified candidates passively/actively looking for employment

Conduct phone interviews to assess candidates’ technical experience to see if they are a match for the job opening

Format resume/submittal package to highlight candidate’s top skills for client review

Prepare the candidate for phone and in‑person interviews by having in‑depth conversations surrounding questions, scenarios, and technical experience that may be asked by the client

Work closely with Account Executives to negotiate pay rates for both consultant and client

Gather and prepare all onboarding paperwork for the candidate after the offer/acceptance stage

Continue to stay connected with the consultant through happy hours, in‑person meetings, coffees, etc., to ensure they are happy and successful in their new role.

Meet minimum weekly metric,s including phone interviews/submittals to open jobs

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to develop strong and genuine relationships with our customers and consultants
