As a Behavior Technician, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by delivering in-home and community-based ABA services. $19.00/hr - $26.00/hr Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect data on client behavior during sessions Assist in the development and implementation of care plans Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors Maintain accurate and confidential client records Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination Qualifications
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be at least 18 years of age Job details
