Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.
Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect data on client behavior during sessions Assist in the development and implementation of care plans Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors Maintain accurate and confidential client records Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination Skills
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be at least 18 years of age Joining our team as a Behavior Technician offers the opportunity to grow your skills in behavioral health while making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 per week with potential to increase over time Paid time off Paid training Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Arvada, Colorado (Required) Willingness to travel: 100% (Required) Our Values
