Pay Range : $5,057.50 – $7,595.00 (Salary determined by skills and experience)
Overview The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment’s (OEHHA) Division of Scientific Programs uses scientific and public health information to assess chemical hazards for state and local regulatory programs. The Senior Librarian supports this mission by providing advanced research services and maintaining the Occupational and Environmental Health Library (OEHL).
Responsibilities
Provide complex search services across multiple online scientific databases and search engines to identify research related to specific chemicals or topics.
Assist staff in obtaining full‑text documents when they are not available through search engines.
Maintain and manage the OEHL collection in the Oakland office.
Participate in teleconferences, webinars, and travel to off‑site meetings as required.
Support the organization, classification, and access of library materials.
Minimum Requirements
Meeting the specifications listed in the Classification Specification for Senior Librarian.
List eligibility established through the examination process.
