First Student
Part Time School Bus Monitor – White Bear Lake, MN
As a First Student Part Time School Bus Monitor you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before‑school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.
No experience as a school bus monitor is required! We provide training using our industry‑leading technology.
Responsibilities
A split shift: early morning before‑school pickup and after‑school drop‑off with free hours in between.
A guaranteed shift of 4 hours per school day. No working nights or weekends unless you want to.
Optional additional hours through trips and charters when available.
Benefits
$17.00‑$20.00 per hour starting wage, based on experience.
Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits plus 401(k) retirement savings plan (benefits may vary by location or CBA).
No prior experience required.
Qualifications
Strong verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and sound judgment.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Availability for early morning hours.
At least 21 years old.
Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
