RSU 63 (Clifton, Eddington, and Holden) is currently seeking applications for Bus Drivers to safely transport our students to and from school, sporting events, field trips, and other activities.
Compensation & Benefits
$20.25 - $25.50 per hour, depending on experience
Paid time off, health and dental benefits, and a pay‑averaging option in accordance with the RSU #63 Support Staff Handbook and Board policies
Responsibilities
Safely transport students to and from school, sporting events, field trips, and other activities
Maintain a clean and safe driving environment by following all safety regulations and policies
Assist students with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety throughout the trip
Maintain accurate logs and reports as required by RSU 63 policies
Requirements
State of Maine Class B License with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) Endorsements
Current Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) issued to the successful candidate
Must pass a pre‑employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
Willingness to train the right candidate for a commercial license if needed
Applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate has been found
