Coach, Varsity Girls Lacrosse, Magruder High School (TPT) – Immediate
Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking an Immediate, Temporary Part Time (TPT) coach for Varsity Girls Lacrosse at Magruder High School.
Responsibilities
Lead and coach the Varsity Girls Lacrosse team for the seasonal year, preparing athletes for competition and success.
Develop practice plans, conduct training sessions, and manage in‑season schedules.
Ensure player safety, conduct injury prevention, and maintain a positive team environment.
Collaborate with school administrators and coaching staff on program needs.
Qualifications
Must be an MCPS teacher or professionally certified educator employed by MCPS.
Completed or be enrolled in the two‑credit MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED".
Complete and submit the online MCPS Application.
Emergency Coach Options For emergency coaching needs, the following options are available:
Level I Emergency Coach:
Certified teacher (not employed by MCPS) who has completed the two‑credit MCPS course and the online application.
Level II Emergency Coach:
High school graduate, at least 21 years of age, who has completed the two‑credit MCPS course and the online application.
Job Specific Information
TPT position with no benefits.
