How You’ll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

The Tool Room Attendant supports maintenance, the Tooling Analyst, and Central Tooling with their tooling needs.

Attendants keep the tool room clean and well organized.

Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining a tool crib on the assigned shift independently; issuing and receiving tooling using the Tooling Management System; ensuring data accuracy and compliance with PMET; controlling revisions of tooling; validating tool/kit upon issuing and receiving; ordering stock; supporting line, base, and OSR; assisting CT-initiated shipping, including Webvision; in‑sourcing with tooling needs; performing minor tool repair; cutting material; and proper binning.

Attendants must comprehend and apply information from technical manuals, procedural manuals, and blueprints.

The attendant is responsible for safe operation of mechanical and manual material handling equipment and company vehicle(s).

Consistently practicing safety‑conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures is required.

Tool Room Attendants, along with leadership, assist and support the Tool Analysts and Central Tooling.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

Read and write English and comprehend technical manuals.

Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems.

Valid driver’s license.

Willingness to work rotating or fixed shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to lift at least 80 pounds and meet all physical requirements for essential job functions.

High productivity and accuracy, meeting deadlines.

Team player with a customer‑service focus.

If transferring internally, currently performing satisfactorily in the present position.

Consistent prioritization of safety and security for self, others, and personal data.

Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking, and styles.

High school diploma, GED, or high‑school equivalency.

Age 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
